North West, Western Australia Update.
HI trains running as usual. Bit of water in their ore pits.
Robe River, trains running, Damage to repeater at Mt Tabletop.
BHP, Yarrie line ok and running.
Mt Newman, Port Hedland line cut. ie. Yandi, Ore Body 25,
Jimbilbar, Newman. Bridge at Yule River (159.95km) has had a pile washed
out.
I do have photos, e-mail me if you want to see.
Plus 3 km of track under water at the Fortesque River crossing, and
a number of turnouts washed out.
No trains expected to run South till the new year.
When the town goes on Alert, loco's are 'tied down' ie. hand brakes applied
insitu. What loco's are at the port are shedded, and a number of hand brakes
applied to the wagon rakes.

Will let you know when the Newman line is open.
