Aus loco discussion mailing list
Morning all,
In view of the impending TC bearing down on the WA coast, I am just curious
to note what precautions BHP, Robe River, HI take in regards to rail
services. I presume all train services are suspended, the mines closed and
the like.
Specifically do they shed the locomotives at their main workshops? I heard
somewhere that the locomotives are 'chained' down during these periods.
Let us all hope that the TC storm damage will be minimal.
