Hello
I'm after a good vantage point for watching trains around the southern or
northern bank of the Hawkesbury- preferably not too far from a station and
perhaps with some interesting bushwalking or other views offering. I'm
mostly interested in seeing freights or perhaps interesting passenger
movements. Is late afternoon or early evening a good time ?
Also, have all the Hunter area 620 (?) railcars been modified with air-con
and non-opening windows ? I'd like to take a ride where I can open the
window and enjoy the 110km\h running past the long coalies. Trains with
non-opening windows just don't do it for me . . .
Are there any of the older railcars with opening windows operating past
Dapto anymore,or is it all Endeavours now ?
Cheers
Ben
