It would certainly seem the logical outcome in these circumstances. One
could hardly see Freightcorp hiring 48's to the perceived opposition.
Mind you if they haven't got the business (moving the grain) they could
at least make some money from hiring out the locomotives, but we have
seen the effects of railways misjudging their opposition already.
