[Ausloco] Today in Junee







 Evening All

 Winter seems to have arrived, a max yesterday of 8deg, this morning -3
 and not about to get any warmer, at 1900, 0deg and blowing a gale

   UP at loco are  EL's 52, 61,63, 64, -  T's 373, 408, 409,

  GNR 373 is still carrying collision damaged to hand rails etc, the
 electrical components that were damaged have been repaired along with>
hoses and taps that were crushed in the accident, the engine and 4
 wagons worked to Young on Friday

 4816, is still in the workshop,

 4836 is due out of Chullora after under going fire damage repairs

 4403 has been moved from the pigeon dropping display area into the
 Austrac workshop area, various components are being looked at prior to
 attempting to start the old girl up,

 EL's 53 and 55 are expected at Cootamundra West AM tomorrow, possibly
 arriving on YN 2, After fitting of desanding equipment, and a quick run
 around the block, these loco's will be working for Freight Australia,
 they are to replace either the 2 X's or 2 G's, apparently this decision
 has not yet been made,

 The FA Canola train that was parked in 2 road Junee had gone on Friday
 morning destination unknown

 The new wagons belonging to ATN and CFCLA are expected to arrive in
 Melbourne soon after being unloaded at Adelaide,

 L 251 is thought to be moving to Junee late next week , possibly about
 the same time as a pair of 830's arrive from South Aus, 2 of the L's
 still at Whyalla are due to be on the move early this week,

 When the sun went down today EL 64 was leading EL 63 on MS 7
