Hi there,

There seems to have been a lot of misinformation and speculation here
in what has become a lengthy thread so perhaps a few words will
hopefully straighten things out. Hopefully this will not be as a
result of speculation as much info was gained from previous colleagues
"in the know" notably the Motive Power inspector from 1975 through
1983(?)
Mention was made of 930's leading C class... there was no need for
Staff exchange as the whole line to Serviceton was CTC prior to 1979.
