[Ausloco] dead loco - Orange
Folks,
just popped out of the office for a moment, and noticed on my travels a
dead 8171 stabled just south of Orange East Fork box. This is only
about the second or third time I've seen something like this in my seven
years in Orange, so assume it is crippled. A previous example which
springs to mind was bicentennial liveried 8040 about six years back: on
that occasion, the loco sat here for three or four days, so must have
had some big problems (typical Alco, Ivar!).
