It is possible that if NRs would be used on the heavier limestone job we could see the DLs used on other duties within NSW. The Dubbo/Newcastle job seems to now be a
regular NR+81 combo and the 81s have been used on the NRC Hunter coalie. It is possible with crew training that we could see DLs operating in the Hunter. Perhaps this
explains why DL45 has been at Morandoo for the past 3 weeks (crew training)??
