RE: [Ausloco] thanks and a question

Just a thought from an expat...

It took me a while of thinking about the question of whether there is a
value in reporting loco and train movements.

Considering that I am not able to see (in real time) what is going on in
the rail world, reports of consists, timings and so on mean that there is a
real value for the rail fan here.

IMHO the real value is, as Scott Martin suggested, the longer term patterns
that emerge from the logging of the movements of traffic throughout the
network as seen by the members of this group.

>From another perspective, is there anyone who would be interested in
cataloguing and reporting on these movements.

Just a thought though, but I feel that there is the real value.
