Thurs.16.3, Dimboola, Victoria.
Freight Victoria/Australia's 9791 Dynon to Dimboola goods arrived in
Dimboola this morning as G537 (V/Line colours), X45
(Fright Australia colours) and T399 (Freight Victoria
colours), hauling a rake of about a dozen container flats loaded with TOLL and
TNT containers, and is currently stabled in number 3 road in Dimboola
yard.
This train will continue west to Adelaide, departing Dimboola late
afternoon or early eveninig as Freight Australia's train number 9761. (Not
sure of other train number) It is assumed that the same locomotive
combination will stay on the train for this next part of the journey.
This is the first sighting of both a T and X in the new FV/FA colours
this far out along the Western standard gauge line.
I will try and post later in the day to let our friends in SA when it
departs.
Also present in Dimboola yard this morning were G540 ni
Freight Victoria colours and G538 in V/Line colours, and
RT18.
yours,
Simon King
