I noted two St. Mary's stone trains yesterday (14 March 2000) at Canterbury.
One was westbound hauled by 8039+8033 at 1350 hrs and the other was
eastbound hauled by 8017+8007 at 1450 hrs.  Most of the trip workings were
hauled by either double 48's or single 81's.

It was also good to see two lots of quad 86's on the coalies.  One set
(8617/8647/8641/8635) headed west at 1215 hrs and the other
(8609+8629+8633+8612) was heading east at 1325 hrs.

Through in the double EL's, 7301 on carriage transfer trips to Delec and a
few NR's & 82's and it turned out to be an interesting afternoon.
