Hi,
DA7 was most definitly 4813 and not 870.
870 should still be withdrawn and sitting at Port Augusta.
The confusion may come from the fact that 870 had (may still have) the
long hood cover off 4813 some time ago. A picture of this appeared in my
Alco Addict newsletter and was taken by Daven Walters.
At this time, DA7 was either in an advanced state of construction, or was
already running, I would have to check dates.
