I've also sighted several low-number NR's in recent months that have
very faded orange cabs, including 17, 21 and I think 43. Certainly the
Perth-built (& painted) units are holding a much darker orange - so more
likely the paint mix rather than the territory (& weather) they're
running.

Also, the NR's on the Melb/Adel run seem to be less weathered than those
on
the Melb/Syd/Bris viz NR1-12 and NR61-71 (or thereabouts). WE have had
NR81
& NR85 running thru Bargo for the past week or so and the painwork is
still
remarkably quite good, likewise those from 100-120 seem to be is good
cond.
