RE: Alice Springs, 1-2/3

That makes two of us, Danny. I had hopes of huge trains, like the Perth
traffic, and heaps of ANs, ALFs and CLF/CLPs. Derek has asked me if I
was interested in writing a "snapshot"-type article for Digest, which I
was planning to do, anyway, but it may turn into a full feature once I
get started. The plan is to cover several aspects, including
train-working, yard layout, brief history and a vision of the future.
I'll begin work on this in the next day or so.

Peter

Afternoon Peter,
Your reports from "The Alice" will be greatly missed.
I did not know anything about rail activity in NT before your reports
starting coming.
Thanks, On the south Danny
