Evening all,

Today 4AM3 Patricks left with CLP8(ASR)/GM44(ASR)/GM34/CLF7. I took 35min to
traverse the Belair to Mt.lofty section at speeds of no more than 15km/h.
The two GM's sounded magic through Belair and Upper Sturt(2km before Lofty).
Also on ASR loco's, they have currently been busy this week doing gauge
conversions. 838 which is on broad gauge swapped bogies with 843 on standard
gauge. This was so 838 can go to Pt.Augusta for electrical cabinet fire
repairs. Both these locos should be ready to go by Friday. Also 706 is being
transfered from SG to BG to assist the 830's,DA's and CK's on the Penrice
limestone train. It should also be ready to go by Friday. Well thats all
from me today.

Cheers,

Justin Cheary
