Ausloco'ers.
At 12.55 at Canterbury station, 8166/8133/8165/8136 were on
the point of an up coal working, which was stopped awaiting the up
signal
to go green. It is rare to see a freight stop anymore at Canterbury,
since the crossovers between goods and suburban lines and the racecourse
siding was removed in the 90's. IT should be somewhere on the illawarra
by now.
Don't know what kept it. This train (CA16) was across Como Bridge at
1640. It was preceeded by 8156/8157/8145/8130 on a Down Wheat and followed
at 1710 by 8182/8140/8146 on another Down Coal. Quite a procession!
