"The final stages of the repainting of 3801 to its traditional green are nearing completion. During the period since last December the arch tubes have all been replaced and other general maintenance matters attended to.

Load trials scheduled for next Thursday 24th February. 
3801 and empty cars depart Eveleigh 09:10. Water will be taken at Waterfall then proceed to Wollongong (arr 11:30). Depart Wollongong 12:25;  return to Eveleigh is scheduled for 14:12.

Sunday 27th, 3801 / 3830, are scheduled to operate a double headed excursion to Robertson."
