There is a guy, Rodney Hudson, who has a small "backyard" foundry in
Ferntree Gully in Melbourne.  Being a rail fan, he notices the missing
plates and casts full sized replacements in scrap Aluminium and offers them
to FV for about $100.  He has sold a few - I guess he will offer others as
he notes the missing plates and casts them.

A81 and X51 also have numberplates. Does anyone know if FV will eventually
replace the missing numberplates on their locos?
