DA 1573 has now entered traffic for Westrail - the first of its class in
the yellow colour scheme. It was sighted at Keysbrook on 1542 quartz train
on 2/4/00, where it crossed an HVR train led by C 1702 heading for Capel.
Incidentally, this was the first train to traverse the Capel branch for a
year.
Two of the three Alcoa alumina trains had DB class working them on the same
day. S class usually dominate on these workings. The Kwinana -
Bunbury rail corridor is busy 7 days a week.
