Trams of special interest to visitors to Melbourne
City circle tram (free)
[5]
This tram has been specially created as a tourist service. It circles
the central city (see the route map) and provides
handy access to many places of interest.

Would you like to travel the streets of Melbourne in a historic
W-class tram while you dine?
Although this restaurant is not cheap, the experience is unique
and it is very popular - bookings must be made well in advance.
The restaurant started out with one tram, but has expanded to
three now. More
information and pictures are available (at a US-based
site).

(This text was taken from an advertisement in
Discover Melbourne & Victoria, March '98, one of those
glossy giveaway tourist booklets you can find wherever tourists go.
Apparently the service has been operating since November 1997.
I know nothing else about it.)
