Leonora is a mining town to the north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. You might find it on a map. It had a tramway, operated variously by steam, electric and petrol vehicles, between about 1901 and 1921. Its electric tram [just the one!] ran between Leonora and Gwalia, another, adjacent mining town. Electric operation was between 1908 and 1915, when the power house burnt down. The tram body still exists and has, we believe, just been taken over for preservation by a local historical group.
