I finally spotted X47 passing through Brooklyn at 1445 today (60
late).

At the moment the loco is green all over, with only the X47 number
plates and white handrails providing any colour relief. The "Forest
Green" looks actually like a "Mid Brunswick Green" seen on many
Victorian terrace houses in Melbourne (not the dark Brunswick Green).

I'll have some photos on my web page tonight late (say midnight).

I've also been told that X49 and X47 will be the only DOOMed X class
and that X48, which has just entered the shops to have some rust
cut/scraped off and overhauled, will be repainted but not DOOMed.
