I was half right... with the colour, that is.

A green (no gold, no logos, no FV name) X47 trailed by G526 passed
through Brooklyn at 0910 (scheduled 0843) today Tuesday 8/6/99
(missed it by 5 minutes, drat it!).

Its return journey is dep Bendigo 1150 (as posted by Graeme), Brooklyn
1345, arr Newport 1400.

I'd imagine it then returns to the paint shop for the gold to be
applied.
