Obviously delayed by flooding around Alice Springs.   The train arrived in Sydney
at around 1240, but more surprisingly, left pretty well on time for the return
journey.   It would seem that NR73 was not released from its train on arrival but
stayed on the buffers as it followed the departing train a few minutes later, en
route to Chullora.   Two cars in the motorail to Sydney, none going out.   Consist
was ten carriages, plus the motorail.
