Welcome to the Hills Model Railway Society

The 2007 Castle Hill Model Railway Exhibition will be held at the Harvey Lowe pavilion, Castle Hill showground on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of July 2007. Click here to see photo's from the 2006 exhibition.

Construction has commenced on a new N Scale layout. The layout consists of 5 modules and is 7.5m long. This enables us to have long runs with 2 main lines of 3.2 scale mile length. Click here to view our progress

The Website has now been running happily for sometime, however it is always evolving and sometimes we do get it wrong. Please let us know if you see a problem or broken link and we will get to it between running trains.

Club Mission

The principal activies of the Hills Model Railway Society Inc. is to promote the hobby of model railway construction, operation and history to society members, public and statutory bodies, to attend and hold displays at model exhibitions and other venues from time to time.

The HMRS Inc. has members interested in Australian, American, British, Japanese and European prototype model railways, covering the 3 common scales, HO, OO and N. We love discussing our models and layouts and visitors are welcome to our society rooms at Baulkham Hills by invitation, by contacting a committee member listed on the contacts page or by sending us an email by clicking here.
