29/4/1983 Up line slewed to new alignment and new low lever up platform
in service (1).

27/5/1983 Down Line and platform abolished new down line and low
level platform in service (grade seperation complete) (2)

19/5/1984 Down line slewed through new down platform (4)

9/6/1984 Up line slewed through new island platform (3)

5/10/1985 New Up platform in service (2) (Finished)

So the up platform (1) at Box Hill was used between 29/4/1983 and 
9/6/1984.  A good 13 months use.


: Glenferrie & Auburn (Vic.) - built c1917, commissioned c 1964.

And there is provision for another up platform and Up line between
(Up platform on top of the shop at Glenferrie and Auburn)
Camberwell and Burnley.  Everything expect Hawthorn Station, Camberwell,
and the road bridge over the railway line (Yarra Street).
Just look at the bridge abutments at Alburn, Glenferrie and the
Yarra River Bridge.  Also the Road Bridges at Camberwell and Hawthorn
have enough room for 4 tracks.
