I know this is a reply to an old posting but I feel now that I have to clear up
some misconceptions.
Our sitting member (pre the election) was Marie Tehan and it is just as well she
retired (pushed) because she was going to lose her seat in large lumps. The
replacement candidate (a friend of Jeff's from Camberwell) managed to lose the
seat for the libs and so Rod, I voted Labor and we now have a Labor member. Your
comment - if your sitting member is etc. - did not apply here.
