I personally could not care less either way whether
somebody other than QR operates the Qld skinny gauge.
But, if you think QR can come out into the real world
of competitive National Freight Haulage on the Standard
Gauge without the state backed monopoly it currently
enjoys, then you need to do some figures.

The ONLY thing that has kept QR afloat is the
exorbitant prices it charges to haul coal.
