Your sweeping generalisation is untrue and makes it difficult to answer
your question. You could mean a low speed light (green) or shunt/call-on
light (yellow), both of which may appear to be colourless when not
illuminated.

Please be more specific in describing the location of the "solitary"
light you are talking about - for instance is it immediately below the
other lights in the bottom head, or in a separate light unit?

That doesn't seem to describe any actual signalling object.
Where is one of these things, for instance?
