Re: Victorian election

Politics is unfortunately a big factor in railways. Always has been, always
will be.

I was driving and training around Sydney on the weekend and could only
wonder about the missed chances for rail and public transit in Sydney. These
include:

Light/Heavy Rail in centre of M2 Motorway
Light/Heavy Rail in conjunction with Eastern Distributor/Sydney Harbour
Tunnel, Gore Hill Freeway

I'm sure that people can add more recent examples from Melbourne, Sydney
and Brisbane.

I don't care who wins the Victorian Election as long as it isn't a politcian
(Damm, they all are :(
