Bishop Austrans

There is a combined meeting of the Institution of Engineers, Australia
and the Chartered Institute of Transport this Thursday at 12 for 1230, at
Engineering House, 11 National Circuit, Barton, ACT. I have checked and
been advised that the meeting is open to the general public, although not
advertised as such.

The meeting is to be addressed by Bruce Sinclair, Director of Bishop
Austrans who will present a paper which "will describe the principal
features and potential applications of the technology, and the combination
of reasons why Canberra was chosen for this major facility[1]."

[1] The major reason being Sydney wasn't interested in another white
elephant of a transport system. The monorail was enough.

Cheers
