Down Murwillumbah XPT was 15' late at Hornsby - on-board announcement said
something about "environmental reasons"!
Down Grafton XPT 40' late at Broadmeadow - on-board announcement "The late
running is due to reasons beyond the control of staff of this train" - in
other words, "no good abusing us, it's not our fault (though we could have
made some effort to find out the real reason for the late running)!" Train
was about 1 hr late by Dungog.
