Douglas Park is on the main south approx 70km from Sydney, not far north

Follow these links for newspaper stories

http://www.smh.com.au/breaking/9910/21/A1160-1999Oct21.shtml for the Sydney
Morning Herald story, and
http://www.theage.com.au/breaking/9910/21/A1160-1999Oct21.shtml for the
Melbourne Age story.

For those of not familiar with the geography, can someone please explain
where Douglas Park is, where this train came from and was going to.

Thanks and regards,
Peter
