1st FV Log Train

Freight Victoria's first log train from Hume left approx 19.00 tonight (21/10).
Motive power was G533 &X38. Empty train was hauled into Hume with both locos at
head end, loaded on the main line, then propelled back to Queanbeyan, where
train was remarshalled. Loco crews provided by Lachlan Valley Railfreight.
Signaller at Qbn and pilot driver on branch by ARHS ACT. Loading took longer
than expected, but once daylight saving starts, should be good for gunzelling.
Warning though. Loading site is not easily accessible and owners of adjacent
property, Tralee, don't welcome trespassers. Bob Hall.
