Tilt Train on Shorncliffe line

QR will hold its annual Spring Ball at Banyo Workshops on Saturday 23
October 1999. Being dubbed "The Millennium Ball", it is said to be quite a
spectacular event. As part of the staging displays, some steam locomotives
and track maintenance machines will be parked in the vicinity.

Guests will be transported from Roma Street platform 10 to Banyo station by
two trains. The first is the Tilt Train departing Roma Street around 6.55pm,
the second, a 220 series SMU departing around 7.00pm. This will be the first
time the tilt set will have appeared on the short, passenger only,
Shorncliffe branch.
