Consortium pushes for high speed rail

bBC reports the formation of the Coalition for High Speed Rail, comprising
of the Committee for Melbourne, the Business Council of Australia and the
Institution of Engineers, Australia. Jack Smorgon appears to be in charge,
so it's certainly not a group to be dismissed lightly. Their policy is to
extend the Sydney - Canberra line (if approved) to Melbourne, Brisbane and
Adelaide.
