Plat.1 FSS and trackwork (everywhere)

Now that the football is over the trackwork has started again.  The weekend
just gone saw trackwork on the St.Albans Line (sleeper replacement, night only)
between Sunshine and St.Albans.  Next weekend it is Footscray-Sunshine
(thoes on the F class trip would have seen the sleepers along the suburban
line between Footscray and Sunshine).

Platform 1 at Flinders Street is out of use again (about the 20th time) for
platform reconstruction (ie leveling, like 2/3, 4/5, 6/7 & 8/9) this will
go till about November 13.  Weekdays the trains leave from platform 14 at
night and weekends they leave from platform 2.  (That is why they leave no.1A)

Alamein line had track work on Sunday.

Down past Pakenham had track work on the weekend just been (the balast train
he crossed at Deak Park West on the F class trip was heading down past
Pakenham about 6pm last night).


That is enough to keep you going till next week.
