:     Is is ex-Kilmore now running via goods instead of pass lines?

The morning Apex, through FSS around 9:30 (well usually one or two minutes
later, but runs very close to on time) goes onto the goods lines at Viduct
Junction through Melbourne Yard at North Melbourne, down the back of South
Kensington and that way to Kilmore East.

Not sure about the return from Kilmore, but it does run via Albion.
