Since aus.rail has degenerated into an abuse forum, pouring scorn on people
rather than on publishing news about railways, the much-maligned grope
thread was more interesting than most.

A Sydney newspaper offered a prize for the first couple to have it off in
the harbour tunnel when it was opened.  The prize was claimed within 2
hours.
