Re: Tunnel under the Sydney Opera house?



There is a new large grilled opening that appeared at the time the car park
was built. However, the tunnel, which heads off in a Sth Westerly direction
towards Govt House, appears to be much older and not of the type of
construction used these days. I do not believe it could have anything to do
with the tram depot as the tunnel is down a fair way and well below sea
level whereas the depot was actually at the existing road height. It would
be good to get down and have a good look at it.
