    Out of a field of 55 cars there were 36 Holdens and 19 Fords. 4 Fords
finished the race while 17 Holdens finished. This means that 47.2% of the
Holdens finished the race but only 21% of the Fords finished the race. The
Holdens are clearly more reliable this year. And many of the Holden retirements
were because of crashes while there were many mechanical failures for the
Fords. Also none of the Ford privateers finished the race.
