Peterborough 19:12CST good evening from the station
a very quiet day today with the first train coming through
at 13:40 an Eastbound BHP Steel Products freight with
a 20 + rake of Bloom wagons from Whyalla, Locos in
charge both in Aboriginal colours NR52 and NR30.
The Indian Pacific was in over 2 hours late at 14:50 due
to a signal block failure and speed restriction , this
side of Broken Hill , interesting to note here that people
travelled over 400 klm from Port Lincoln to pick up
passengers , could this be an Australian record.
The Down BHP freight came crashing and rumbling
through at 18:12 hrs with a load of coiled wire and
Steel Plate for Whyalla.
I should have some interesting photos within a few days.
Enjoy your Trains
Robin
