This sounds like a re-hash of the original One Nation freight route which
was started (and the Ingleburn - Glenfield section actually built) but never
came to any positive fruition.
However it is definitely needed, since the sudden requirement to re-design
Flemington 'back' junction here in Sydney has shown how important a
dedicated freight corridor can be.
Passenger trains might carry the people, but freight is the real
profit-earner.
