What is wrong with the great Inland route??

Though i conced that there are some serious problems with this idea, what is it thatis fundamentaly wrong.Inthe old ays
theyput railways where there was a purpose, to move something, either people or product. Isnt this exactly what is
proposed withthe great inalnd "whatever its called".To actually position itself on the path of use.
I also have trouble with the logic of taking stuf from Melb , to Adelaide thenthrought the hottest part of the country,
throught the middle of nothing to Darwin. Surely it makes more sense to have infrastructure through an area that
generates traffic and indeed through areas that might induce substantial growth.
Who the hellis going to relocate to the great deserts??
Sure build the Alice to Darwin line, shut them all up...but lets not overlook the real potential of the "other" idea
thats its dumb..someone probaly said that to Cook, to Magellan, to Gallileo and to Bill and Steve (thats Gates and Jobs)

yep some ideas are really dumb!!

cheers >:~)) Richard
