A 25,000 volts AC cable just a few centimetres up is a great
dis-incentive to roof-travel. Not so in Victoria. 1,500 volts DC isn't
enough.

I hear in Manilla that the roofs of carriages are pitched to prevent
that as well as things being thrown onto carriages.
