Why close the trams stops in the first place?  I take it that quite a few
people had their say, hence the reason for re opening them.

The Victoria/Franklin Street was a good idea because having two trams
stops either side of the intersection is just stupid.

But Pelham Street was stupid as it is quite a distance between Gratton
and Queensberry Street.

Since you work for Swanston trams, what was the reason for closing the 
tram stops?

All taken into account the service to Melbourne University in the last
6 months has got better.
Removal of Queensberry Street X over
Reduction in Short Running (which stuffs everything)
Customer Service people at La Trobe Street in the morning keeping
the trams moving
And same at Melbourne University in the afternoon keeping the trams
moving (like shunting 4 at once, through a three tram shunt)

Well Done (forgetting the last 2 days)
