In Thursday,May 13,1999 issue of the Melbourne Herald Sun,page 18, Andrew
Bolt wrote a short article questioning whether Australia has the worlds most
ferocious vandals.
He stated among other points that the Spanish company that supplies our
public phones has never seen the amount of punishment inflicted on the
instruments any where else in the world, and they supply to some pretty
worldly hot spots.
ERG is also mentioned,bemoaning our culture of fare evasion. And our youth
suicide rate being one of the world's worst.
I quote from Andrew, "Our youth suicide rate is one of the world's
worst.Most other signs of youth despair are also up-drug use, eating
dis-orders, depression, violent crime, school bullying.What will it take for
us to wake up and help our young?"
