Another example of closed lines on current maps is the recent (last year) NSW
Road Directory - NSW equivalent of the Vicroads directory.
Among the closed lines shown on the maps are:
North Star - Boggabilla
Weemelah - Mungindi (listed as disused)
Nyngan - Bourke
Byrock - Brewarrina
Moree - Inverell
Dumaresq - Wallangarra
Westdale - Barraba
Molong - Yeoval - Dubbo
Sandy Hollow - Merriwa
Hillston - Roto
Willbriggie - Hay
Narrendera - Tocumwal
Goulburn - Crookwell
Galong - Boorowa
Greenthorpe - Grenfell
Cootamundra - Batlow
Culcairn - Holbrook
Uranquinty - Kywong
Boree Creek - Oaklands
Henty - Rand
Culcairn - Cororwa
Bungendore - Captains Flat (closed 30 years ago!)
Queanbeyan - Bombala
Moulamein - Balranald
(not to mention some closed lines in Qld and Vic as well).

Interestingly enough, Glenreagh - Dorrigo has been omitted.

The source data for this atlas came from the (NSW) Land Information Centre, and
(thankfully) railway lines tend to stay on topographic maps some time after they
are closed (albeit marked as disused/closed). This makes it very useful of
course when you are looking for station sites etc.
