Model Railroad Pine Trees

Hi all,

Many american modellers construct pine tree models using
"furnace filters".  Is there an equivalent filter/fibre
product available in Austraila that can be subsitited for
the furnace filter.

(Furnaces are pretty scarce here in Perth).
