Well , whilst the concept may seem totally outdated , OTS actually isnt a bad 
form of safeworking where the train density is low, there is only a few single 
line track sections and opposing movements are few and far between.
Its very low level of technology (none) means that it is reliable , doesnt 
suffer from the Y2K problem and doesnt even need locos with radios.
I wouldnt knock it really.
Whats more interesting is , who makes the staffs?
